A senior finance professional in Washington, DC, Eric Blue focuses on value investing across industries such as consumer products, insurance, and telecom. Currently the chief executive officer and chief investment officer with Valler Holdings, Corp., Eric Blue develops strategy focused on the delivery of long-term growth for shareholders.
Mr. Blue previously served as an investment banker with Lehman Brothers and as a corporate associate with Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. In the latter position, he played a key role in the firm’s Texas office’s participation in the Sponsors for Educational Opportunity internship program. He also served on the firm’s hiring and diversity committees.
A graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, Mr. Blue earned a summa cum laude bachelor of science in mathematics from Xavier University of Louisiana. Over the course of his career, he has served as president and member of the board of directors with the J.L. Turner Legal Association (the African American Bar Association of the City of Dallas). Eric Blue has also held a seat on the board of directors at the Dallas Black Dance Theatre.
